Continuing Education Credits
We offer continuing education credit as a service to our clients.
Continuing education offers a way for training participants to earn the credit hours needed to keep professional certifications current while attending one of our training courses. Crucial Conversations Training, Crucial Confrontations Training and Influencer Training have been approved for continuing education credits by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), and nurses through the California Board of Registered Nurses (BRN).

IACET encourages individuals to check with their specific regulatory boards or professional organizations to confirm that the CEUs received from courses taken from IACET Authorized Providers will be accepted.

Individuals who earn AACN contact hours and want to apply them toward other designations/licenses which are not affiliated with AACN certification are encouraged to check with their specific regulatory boards (i.e., state boards of nursing) or professional organizations to confirm that the AACN contact hours will be accepted. CALIFORNIA BOARD OF REGISTERED NURSES (BRN)

BRN Credit is good toward the recertification of RNs, LVNs, and Medical Assisting (as accredited by the CMAA) in California or wherever else California Nursing licenses are accepted.
Process for obtaining Continuing Education Credits
- Download the class roster.
- Make sure the roster is filled out completely with names and e-mail addresses, and that participants sign in and out each day of training (signatures required for credit).
- Upon completion, the trainer should e-mail or fax the roster to ceu@vitalsmarts.com or 801.765.0272.
- Once received, certificates will be created and e-mailed to the participants. Please allow one to three weeks for processing.
