			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>VitalSmarts is seeking an Administrative Assistant ­­. This position will be responsible for customer support and general administrative functions for the Sales Team. Applicants must possess excellent organizational skills, be able to multi-task, and be impeccably detail oriented. A minimum of 5 years administrative experience, along with excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, proposal writing skills, computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite), and customer sales support skills are required.  Qualified applicants will be self motivated and possess an enthusiasm for excellence in their work.</p>
<h3>Education/Experience</h3>
<p>Experience: 5 Years<br/>
Education Level: High School Graduate – some college or a degree is a plus, but not required.</p>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<p>Must be able to handle many projects at once and effectively deal with people to achieve optimal outcomes.  Skills in Microsoft Office and excellent phone etiquette required.  Qualified applicants must be customer service oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and have the desire to perform at a high level with an emphasis on quality.</p>

<h3>Summary</h3>
<p>The Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying and nurturing marketing-generated prospects through the marketing funnel until they become a “sales ready” lead and are handed off to a VitalSmarts Sales Executive.</p>
<p>This includes following up with prospects who have inquired about VitalSmarts training solutions through online (research paper downloads, webcast registrations, etc) and offline (trade shows, executive briefings, public training workshops) sources. The SDR will assess the value of the marketing-generated leads, determine the likelihood of purchasing, identify key decision makers, or uncover potential training initiatives within the organization.</p>
<p>The SDR will partner with the sales team to determine whom to target within specific accounts and assist new sales executives with building their sales pipelines through targeted out-bound campaigns.</p>
<p>The SDR will also assist the Demand Generation team to promote and fill a variety of marketing events.</p>

<li>Proactively manage global book contract expiration dates.</li>
<li>Identify markets where VitalSmarts has a licensee, yet no localized book. Work with US publisher and licensees to secure a local publisher.</li>
<li>Proactively manage foreign publisher performance, contract compliance, book distribution, and their cooperation with local licensee. Take measures to prevent any issues and/or resolve performance gaps that arise.</li>
<li>Coordinate and approve localized book cover and backmatter. Approve final translation working with licensee partner, if feasible.</li>
<li>Negotiate competitive buy-back discounts from the local publishers for VitalSmarts and licensee partners (goal is 40% or higher).</li>
